The BiblioTech initiative, a shining example of ASDO’s dedication to sustainable development and innovation, earned recognition for its transformative impact on communities. Moreover, this accolade at the Inspire Awards 2023 highlights ASDO’s unwavering commitment to driving meaningful change, fostering innovation within Albania, and ensuring that children remain safe and engaged.
In addition, ASDO expressed immense gratitude for receiving the prize at the Inspire Awards 2023. The organization extended heartfelt appreciation to its dedicated team, valued partners, and the vibrant BiblioTech Youth Community. Their unwavering support and collaboration played a pivotal role in propelling the project to success.

Some words about BiblioTech
The BiblioTech Project is implemented by ASDO, with the support of UNICEF Albania through the “Stop Human Trafficking Program” funded by the UK Government, and the support of the Municipality of Shkodra for the BiblioTech Challenge 3.0. Key Objectives of the project are:
- Provide safe and supportive spaces for youth in Tirana, Shkodra and Korça
- Help youth in these cities gain tech and life skills that will help them advance in their future
- Keep youth engaged in Albania and away from human trafficking schemes
- Show positive role-models for youth development in the country
Key Achievements of the program this year:
- 46 Children were part of 2 Tech Camps, one in Shkodra and one in Tirana
- 120 Children participated at the BiblioTech Challenge
- 3 Winning Ideas for each age category (10-12,13-15,16-18)
- 10 Mentors engaged in a 3 Day Challenge
