Promoting Career Guidance and Lifelong Learning

ASDO in collaboration with KUBE Studio and with the support of Helvetas Swiss Intercooperation Albania, initiated a groundbreaking campaign to champion career guidance and lifelong learning. This initiative aimed to spark a transformative movement, resonating not only with Albania’s youth but also with their parents, educators, and the broader community. By focusing on the critical role of Career Guidance Lifelong Learning, the campaign sought to empower individuals to make informed career choices and embrace continuous personal and professional growth.

To ensure a meaningful impact, ASDO conducted extensive focus group meetings in three major cities: Shkodra, Korça, and Tirana. These sessions brought together over 400 participants from diverse backgrounds, who shared valuable insights into their social media habits, career aspirations, and preferred modes of engagement. The findings revealed that platforms such as Instagram and TikTok were pivotal for reaching the younger demographic. Additionally, the power of videos and user-generated content emerged as key tools for fostering authentic and meaningful connections.

These insights became the backbone of a dynamic and engaging campaign that leveraged the reach and influence of social media. Through creative storytelling, interactive content, and thought-provoking messages, the campaign not only inspired young people to think critically about their career paths but also encouraged them to view learning as a lifelong journey. It tapped into the potential of digital media to make career guidance accessible, relatable, and actionable.

The campaign’s impact extended beyond digital platforms. ASDO organized collaborative workshops in partnership with educational institutions and businesses. These sessions provided participants with hands-on mentorship, practical tools, and resources designed to build their confidence in navigating career choices. The workshops also bridged the gap between academia and industry, creating a supportive ecosystem where youth could thrive.

By addressing the aspirations and challenges of Albania’s emerging generations, ASDO has not only raised awareness but also laid the foundation for a cultural shift. Career Guidance Lifelong Learning is now more than a concept—it is a movement driving innovation, adaptability, and resilience.
