Albania’s cyber domain is under attack: Recommendations

The “Global Cybersecurity Index” in its annual report for 2020 has ranked Albania in the 40th place among 44 European countries, in terms of cyber security. A clear indication that the Albanian society needs more information and concrete programs to be informed about the dangers contained in the virtual world.
- To provide more extensive information on the storage of sensitive data,
- To learn more about the risks,
- To understand when we might be threatened,
- To build a complete picture of the situation,
- To improve the approach to these situations, ASDO with the support of the Swiss Embassy in Tirana through the “CYBER Awareness” project will bring a comprehensive framework on the importance of being safe when using the Internet and when sharing personal information
The organization will be the main leader in the project and together with cyber experts will work to raise the awareness of different groups of society about safe internet, use and digital infrastructure as well as to create an online education platform on cyber security
