From 16 to 22 November 2026, ASDO will take an active part in Global Education Week 2026 as a member of the Global Education Network (GEN).
This year’s campaign, coordinated by the North-South Centre of the Council of Europe, will run under the motto:
“My Voice, Our Action, A Common Future.”
The campaign puts the spotlight on critical thinking, collective action and shared responsibility, encouraging organisations and communities across Europe and beyond to turn awareness into meaningful local action.
Throughout the campaign period, ASDO will organise and support activities engaging young people, children, educational institutions, civil society organisations and local communities. The focus will be on active citizenship, global awareness, participation and the role of local action in shaping a more inclusive and sustainable future.
As part of GEN, ASDO will also contribute to the national promotion of the campaign, amplify its visibility and encourage broader participation in Global Education Week initiatives.
For ASDO, participation in Global Education Week 2026 is a natural continuation of its work in youth empowerment, non-formal education, innovation, social inclusion and sustainable development.
