Western Balkans Join Forces for Safer, Fairer, and More Regular Labor Migration
October 31, 2025Albania Sustainable Development Organization (ASDO) proudly participated in the 2nd International Civil Society Organization Peer-to-Peer Dialogue on Development-Oriented Migration, held in Berlin, Germany. The global event formed part of the “Shaping Development-Oriented Migration (MEG)” programme, commissioned by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) and implemented by GIZ.
Strengthening Global Collaboration on Migration Governance
This three-day dialogue, titled “Coalitions for Impact”, gathered migration specialists, civil society leaders, and international development actors to exchange best practices and build stronger cross-border alliances. The joint mission: ensure migration becomes a driver of social and economic development.
Participants engaged in interactive sessions focused on:
- Policy innovation and capacity building
- Coalition-building among CSOs worldwide
- Human-centered solutions for migration governance
- Sustainable development and human mobility
